Unveiling seven new homes in beautiful Docking

2024-06-11

Freebridge recently unveiled seven new properties in the west Norfolk village of Docking.

The homes, which are a mix of affordable rent and shared ownership, are situated in the stylish Heartwood development by award-winning housebuilder The Hill Group

The brand-new development just off Pound Lane in the pretty village of Docking provides much-needed affordable housing options to the local community.

Freebridge, with a portfolio of around 7,000 properties, has proudly delivered five affordable rental properties and two shared ownership homes in the development.

The five rental properties have already been let, demonstrating the high demand for such accommodation in the area.

Laura Handford, Freebridge's Head of Service for New Homes, said. “This project represents another step forward in addressing the need for more affordable housing in west Norfolk.

“We've been in conversation with The Hill Group about this scheme for several years now, and it is fantastic to see those discussions come to fruition in these much-needed new homes.”

Jon Thistlethwaite, Regional Director of The Hill Group, echoed the sentiment, highlighting the collaborative nature of the project. He added: “We are delighted to have partnered with Freebridge Community Housing to create these high-quality homes which will provide residents with energy-efficiency, helps to reduce their bills and are fit for future generations.”
